Position Summary
This position is responsible for the administration of all aspects of the Company’s Producer Compensation Plans, and accurate payment of field compensation as outlined in the Individual Life and Disability, Multi-Life Disability and Park Avenue Securities schedules for business written by Guardian Brokers, Registered Representatives, Full Time Agents and Field Representatives. This also includes accurate administration and payment to producers writing business through Distribution Alliance channels and Multi-Life Disability Executive Benefit Firms and current and former Berkshire producers.

Qualifications
You have
High school diploma or equivalent required, college degree preferred, additional education in Medical Terminology and Anatomy and Physiology strongly preferred
Work experience involving assumption of insurance risk is a plus.
Experience involving comprehension of medical diagnoses is a plus.
Good basic math skills to deal with probability ratios and analysis of the applicant’s financial data.
Superior analytical skills coupled with the ability to make accurate decisions in a limited timeframe.
Extensive knowledge of the Individual Market’s products/processes is essential
Demonstrated ability to work in a high-volume, high-pressure setting to rapidly process assigned casework
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Firm understanding of the Guardian’s various computer systems (i.e., GEMS, Outlook, LCS, Leverage System, Issue Systems, EDV and Straight Through Processing) desired
PC and Microsoft Office experience desired
You will
Manage Financial Representatives (FRs), Protégé’s, Registered Representatives (RRs), Professional Associates (PAs), Financial Professionals (FPs), Full Time Agents (FTAs), Broker and Wholesaler compensation and contract terms.
Ensures accurate field compensation by interpreting Guardian, Park Avenue Securities, and Berkshire producer contracts and compensation schedules and contract terms
Much of the work involves providing confidential compensation data to field partners – Guardian Office Managers, Agency Accountants and Disability Income Specialists and Berkshire (BGA) General Agencies
Works closely with Guardian Agent Contracting and Licensing (ACL) to ensure that compensation is paid according to the ever changing and varying state license regulations
Recode Life & DI Policies based upon compensation rules
Process assignment of commissions adhering to legal requirements
Provides confidential compensation information to various internal departments such as Legal, Audit and Agency Accounting Services and Manager, Distribution Alliance
Must process paper, NSCC and IPS commission statements and adjustments
Must be able to identify the various types of commissions being reported (regular, 12b-1’s and mixed transactions) and product types (mutual fund, variable annuity, variable life, brokerage and RIA business)
This position requires customer service by responding to commission-related issues and questions, problem research and resolution and accurate dissemination of information.
The growing line of Multi-Life Disability Products requires the analyst to have expert knowledge of the unique compensation schedules of the Executive Benefit Firms. This includes reviewing and approving new compensation schedules in the Agency Compensation System.
Works closely with all internal and external wholesalers to provide confidential compensation information on an urgent basis

The primary location for this position is work from home with some travel required for in-person and/or sales meetings.
