Job Summary and Qualifications

ICU nurses work quickly, efficiently, independently, and meticulously. In order to treat the most critical patients in the most thorough manner, critical care nurses use their specialized skills and extensive knowledge of disease pathology to provide interventions that sustain life.

About this unit:

ICU RNs at RMC have been described as the “Navy Seals of Nursing” . the “Top Elite”! The best of the best, working with incredible tenacity, drive, heart and wicked smart!

• You will be able to care for ECMO, TAVR, Impella, CABGs, Complex Trauma patients
• Cohesive teamwork, opportunity to be trained and developed by top notch nurses, educators, mentors and physicians

What qualifications you will need:

• Advanced Cardiac Life Spt must be obtained within 60 months of employment start date
• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Registered Nurse
• Registered Nurse Diploma
• Advanced Trauma Care for Nurse, or Trauma Nursing Core Course must be obtained within 1 year of employment start date

Research Psychiatric Center is a 95+ bed facility. We offer acute inpatient, day treatment, and community-based outpatient behavioral healthcare.
