Reliable Security Sound and Data (RSSD) is a well-established specialty low voltage company (in the business for 40+ years) here in Everett, WA; looking to add a qualified Installer/Technician. We specialize in the commercial installation of CCTV, Access Control, Security, Telecommunications, Audio and Fire alarm systems.
We are currently looking for Apprentice Technicians located within 1 hour of Everett, WA who are seeking to acquire their 06 Electrical license. 75% of our work is located out of state and the ideal candidate can travel for up to 3-4 weeks at a time and be at least 21 years of age. Per diem for accommodation and food are provided while out of state, plus a $5/hr incentive on top of your hourly pay when traveling outside WA. Reliable Security provides a company cell phone, tool bag, and select company specialty tools upon hiring. After 90 days am eligible for insurance.

Installers/Apprentice will be deployed out to job sites to complete the following type of work. Pull cable (Cat6, fiber, etc.). Terminate cable, certify, and sweep cable. Install devices such as CCTV cameras, access control devices, etc. Individuals may also be tasked to help with support requests from time to time, depending on troubleshooting skill levels. These support requests will come in via email & phone. You would assist the customer with identifying and resolving the problem, then document the problem and resolution. You will also obtain your WA gaming license, OSHA 10 certification, and other security certifications.
The following is a plus:
Understanding of basic security & alarm systems
Able to work independently.
Able to read blueprints.
Good customer service skills
Must have a safe driving record, able to pass both a background check and pass a drug screen.

Pay: $25.00 – $35.00 DOE
