The HR Analyst – Compensation Analyst provides day-to-day support for Reliance merit and bonus administration, equity program administration, in the production and collection of data, and coordination of various compensation related activities throughout each fiscal year. The role also provides ancillary support to other departments, participates in projects that support broader HR operations, and ad-hoc initiatives.
Although previous experience in Compensation practices is important, the position is viewed as a learning and growth opportunity in the field of Compensation. It is, then, an opportunity for someone with minimal experience or an individual with extensive experience in HR that prefers Compensation duties.
A successful candidate will have a solution-oriented mindset, intermediate to expert level proficiency in Microsoft (MS) Excel, MS PowerPoint, Adobe PDF, and a strong inclination toward HR technology, data, and processes. Timeliness, as well as the demonstrated ability to organize multiple points of information to define issues and create options toward resolution is important.

SUPPLEMENTAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Ad-hoc duties
The position is considered remote with occasional on-site days, approximately one week each quarter, at a Reliance or subsidiary location, and there are many across the United States.
There are three preferred candidate locations: Houston, TX, Phoenix, AZ, or Pasadena, CA. This is important to note since a new hire will likely be required to spend two days per week in the office for a duration of time. This is to acclimate to the Reliance work environment and approach.
Travel will be required as business needs arise. This may be approximately once a quarter.
