The HR Assistant compiles and maintains personnel records. Records data for each employee and may prepare reports for employment records, file employment records, or search employee files and furnish information to authorized persons.
RESPONSIBILITIES
· Process, verify, and maintain personnel related documentation, including staffing and performance evaluations.
· Record data for each employee, including such information as addresses, absences, and dates of and reasons for terminations.
· Process employment verification forms.
· Coordinate the employee onboarding process.
· Explain company personnel policies, benefits, and procedures to employees or job applicants.
· Provide assistance in administering employee benefit programs.
· Answer questions regarding benefits and other pertinent information.
· Coordinate HR events.
REQUIREMENTS
· Knowledge of administrative and office procedures and systems such as word processing, managing files and records, designing forms, and workplace terminology.
· Talking to others to convey information effectively.
· The ability to apply general rules to specific problems to produce answers that make sense.
· Providing information to supervisors, co-workers, and subordinates by telephone, in written form, e-mail, or in person.
· Using computers and computer systems (including hardware and software) to program, write software, set up functions, enter data, or process information.
· Performing day-to-day administrative tasks such as maintaining information files and processing paperwork.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
· Sitting for extended periods of time.
· Looking at a computer screen for extended periods of time.

Pay: $20.00 – $22.00 per hour
