Logistics Coordinator – Remanufacturing

FLSA Status: Non – Exempt

SUMMARY

The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for planning and tracking shipment activities and maintaining accurate records.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Manages movement of all large components in and out of RENEW Facilities
• Includes creation of all documents such as Bill of Ladings, Purchase Orders for Suppliers and Packing Slips.
• Coordinate with our Sister Company/GSS to facilitate movement (pickup and delivery) of the large components that flow in and out of all RENEW and the TP&L Enid Storage Facility.
• Create the necessary customs documentation; includes all commercial invoices and packing slips necessary for customs entry into and out of the USA.
• Work with RENEW’s Customs Broker to ensure smooth transition of component with the coordination of transport with GSS across US borders for components as they arrive, and leave RENEW and TP&L Facilities.
• Work with the Reman Coordinators to ensure the tracking of major components as they arrive, and leave RENEW and TP&L Facilities.
• Track costs associated with all component movements; including trucking, standby, detention to ensure these costs are passed along to the customer.
• Coordinate all outgoing/incoming part sales, duties include:
• Creating paperwork such as packing slip/bill of ladings.
• Schedule shipping with suppliers (pickup and delivery).
• Create UPS labels as needed to get parts and materials to where they need to be.
• Supply tracking numbers to estimator/inventory and customer.
• Provide cost of delivery for each shipment to the Reman Coordinators for invoicing.
• Create purchase orders to our suppliers as need for transport costs.

• Coordinate all incoming/outgoing overseas gearing shipments, duties include:
• Working with Reman Coordinators to determine parts that are ready for pickup overseas.
• Work with Vendor to determine “best option” for transport to meet the Remanufacturing Facilities’ timeframes.
• Tracking of costs associated with supplies, issue purchase orders as needed to Vendors/Suppliers for transport.
• Work with Inventory and Accounting Teams to ensure the transport costs are correctly allocated to the correct inventory item as received into ERP.

• Special projects as assigned.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS/COMPETENCIES

To perform the essential functions of this position successfully, an individual should be able to demonstrate and provide the following:

• HS diploma or GED equivalent required. Bachelor’s degree preferred with Wind Industry / Construction

Management / Industrial Engineering / Mathematics or related field experience.

• Three (3) – five (5) years of functional experience preferred.
• Strong mechanical background, analytical thinker with the ability to resolve complex issues, and manage

tight deadlines and rapid change.

• Understanding of the quote to sales to scheduling process.
• Microsoft Dynamics or other ERP experience beneficial.
• Extensive knowledge in Word, Excel and Outlook and the ability and willingness to learn new software applications.
• Excellent organizational skills, communications skills, detail-oriented, the ability to multi-task, and most

importantly, the ability to work well in a team.

• Demonstrates openness to change, flexibility, and adaptability.
• Self-starter with a drive for continuous improvement of the business operations.

WORK ENVIRONMENT/PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

This position is largely self-directed and requires understanding of company policy, procedures, and values. Team members will be required to adhere to all safety requirements in all work environments. This position operates in an office and shop environment.

• Full Time position up to 40 hours per week; may require occasional overtime as needed

Specific physical requirements include:

• Sitting for approximately 80% of the time while working on a personal computer.
• Occasionally lifting weights of fifty (50) pounds or less.
• All proper PPE must be worn when entering the shop.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45,000.00 – $55,000.00 per year
