ReScope Marketing is looking for an awesome Web Developer with Wix and Wordpress experience. Web developer responsibilities include building a variety of websites from concept all the way to completion from the bottom up, fashioning everything from the home page to site layout and function. We are a fast-paced, growing, and talented team & we need someone who has creative solutions but is also willing to execute through to the end. We’re picky though. We don’t want a robot with no personality or someone who is just punching the clock in and out. We’re a small company and so essentially, we’re family. For real, we’re going to spend 8 hours a day with you, and you with us, so we need someone that’s more than a wet bed sheet willing to do the work. We want someone fun, happy, and willing to have a laugh with us throughout the day. Are you going to work hard, of course! But will you dread having to come into work Sunday evening, not likely.
A bit about ReScope Marketing – We are a full-service digital marketing agency and we offer a full array of options to help businesses grow. We’re small, but we’re rapidly expanding! We work hard and hit our deadlines! Clients come to us to build the website of their dreams, as well as all of their other digital marketing needs. We’re located in South Jordan, Utah. This job is full-time, on location, non remote. Listed are a few baseline skills/tasks you’ll be doing, but as we mentioned earlier, we want a thinker, not a robot.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Build attractive and top quality websites for a variety of different clients.
- Edit websites per the clients’ requests.
- Create website layout/user interface by using standard HTML/CSS practices
- Integrate data from various back-end services and databases
- Gather and refine specifications and requirements based on technical needs
- Create and maintain software documentation
- Be responsible for maintaining, expanding, and scaling our site
- Stay plugged into emerging technologies/industry trends and apply them into operations and activities
- Monitor and update each website’s SEO
- Perform routine maintenance and updates to a wide array of websites
REQUIREMENTS & SKILLS:
- Proven working experience in web programming
- Top-notch programming skills and in-depth knowledge of modern HTML/CSS
- A solid understanding of how web applications work including security, session management, and best development practices
- Adequate knowledge of relational database systems, Object Oriented Programming and web application development
- Hands-on experience with network diagnostics, network analytics tool
- Aggressive problem diagnosis and creative problem-solving skills
- Strong organizational skills to juggle multiple tasks within the constraints of timelines and budgets with business acumen
- Ability to work and thrive in a fast-paced environment, learn rapidly and master diverse web technologies and techniques.
- Know how to take a website idea and build a fully operational website to the requested specifications – THIS IS A MUST
- Knowledge of Onsite & Offsite SEO – THIS IS A MUST
- Experience with PHP coding – THIS IS A MUST
- Be fluent in both WIX and Wordpress – THIS IS A MUST
