Resideo Hiring for Shipping/Receiving Specialist – Level 2 Job at Sparks, NV Full Time

Join our shipping & receiving team and use your knowledge to ensure you properly receive incoming material; maintain accurate accountability of receiving, additions and deletions for materials from the record. Prepare product for shipment according to specifications and/or customer requirements. Transport material internally. Execute standard procedures and assist Logistics team to fulfill tasks on time, every time. Provide ideas on how to improve processes in a strong continuous improvement environment. Assist to build a best-in-class service culture by driving positive Customer satisfaction. We offer a $500 sign-on bonus, as well as a starting hourly rate of at least $19/hr. We offer a full benefits package that full-time employees are eligible for on day 1. The work schedule runs Monday through Friday with full-time hours being 9:30am – 6:00pm plus overtime OR part-time opportunities after 3:00pm.

JOB DUTIES:

• Transport materials
• Picking and packing using an RF scanner
• Operate a sit-down forklift
• Shipping and receiving
• Load and unload trucks
• Ensure zero product delinquency
• Continuous improvement
• Execute standard procedures
• Assist in training new employees

YOU MUST HAVE:

• A High School Diploma

WE VALUE:

• Some experience in shipping and/or receiving
• 2+ years of experience in a warehouse or distribution center environment
• 1+ year of experience using an RF scanner
