Revolution Brewing’s marketing team is developing innovative projects to maintain our brand identity as we rock it in year 13 of being Illinois’ #1 selling IPA and favorite craft brewery. To do so we’re hiring a Creative Associate to work on a range of design materials that promote the Rev brand, our two retail locations, our family of products, and more. This person will be an inventive problem solver skilled in design, detail oriented, and prompt in communication. Being a part of Rev’s marketing team means contributing to brainstorming sessions and providing creative input for Rev’s brand identity!
Under the direction of our Brand Director you’ll generate design projects and materials – think Point-of-Sale and trade materials, digital executions (including items for our website), and event/activation designs that align with Rev’s brand identity and guidelines. You’ll have a voice in creating merchandise that you’ll then design and rollout, where you’ll coordinate with vendors and manage our e-commerce fulfillment for distributor partners for trade/POS materials.
Additionally you’ll:
– assist in preparing presentation materials for internal and external meetings.
– manage, maintain and organize the brewery’s assets stored on our partner-facing graphics portal, external website, owned commerce site and internal server, ensuring that all design materials are stored and organized effectively and are easily accessible to stakeholders.
– review assets and designs created by internal and external partners to ensure accuracy and consistency of all design work.
This is a role located in the Avondale neighborhood of Chicago, working on-site at our production facility most days of the week. Our marketing crew also supports each other by also attending a major event or activation approximately once per month.
If you’ve read this far, then when you apply you’ll know to include a link to your portfolio showcasing skill in design, branding and merchandise design in either your resume or cover letter, or attach it in the cover letter spot.
For your success in this role, you’ll already have:
– a Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, visual communication, or a related field, or related experience.
– at least 1-2 years of experience in a design-related role – in beverage or CPG is a plus.
experience in concepting and design of trade marketing, point-of-sale, retail display creation and sell-in materials is a plus.
– proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
– a working understanding of typography, color theory, and layout design.
– a basic understanding of design principles and file setup requirements for different mediums.
– the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
– either a passion for craft beer or the willingness to observe, learn, and engage with this popular and vibrant segment.
This role is budgeted for a salary of $60,000-$70,000. Revolution also pays a bonus of up to 10% annually, offers benefits that are effective the first day of the month after you start, and more.
