The successful candidate must possess political acumen and have an established track record of successfully supporting government relations programs. The successful candidate should be independent, adaptable, able to reprioritize and shift gears quickly, and be comfortable in a high-pressure environment.
Position Responsibilities may include, but not limited to:
Supporting state and local advocacy plans to advance the Company’s policy positions and issue solutions.
Develop, manage, and enable delivery of key messages to important stakeholder audiences to clearly define and communicate the Company’s strategic business priorities, while also promoting Company brands and programs.
Manage the identification of government-related business opportunities and facilitate discussions with government to support those efforts.
Track and inform Company of all matters of interest and help provide analysis of legislative or proposed regulations and updating with reports on subsequent action.
Execute community outreach strategy, ensuring partnerships that align to business needs and objectives.
Representing the Company and GRPA Team at external meetings and events.
Other projects or duties as assigned.
Required Skills and Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree with 6+ years of Government Relations and Public Affairs experience, including community relations.
Ability to work in multi-faceted, fast-paced environment.
Strong interpersonal communication and organizational skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Microsoft Office proficiency.
Travel requirement – 35% travel.
This position must pass a post-offer background and drug test.

Brand Management.
Project and Budget Management.
Stakeholder Engagement and Employee Communications experience.
