As our Field Construction Manager you will be responsible for the smooth functioning of the day-to-day field operations and ensuring that the construction projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet all safety and quality standards. You will be accountable for supervising the activities of direct hire and sub-contracted crews. You should be experienced in all aspects of the cellular construction industry and familiar with most major wireless carrier’s technology (i.e. Verizon, T-Mobile/Sprint, AT&T, Dish).

We seek a working Construction Manager, willing and able to assist the crews from time to time, including working with tools if necessary.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide oversight and management of field personnel on all assigned construction projects

• Assist crews, including working with tools, on an as-needed basis
• Assist in the bid preparation and documentation process
• Ensure and implement safety standards as well as all company policies

• Train and develops field personnel
• Coordinate construction schedules
• Act as a liaison to project management for bids, subcontracting, progress and delays
• Work with Project Managers to develop detailed coordination, review and approve all documentation (including but not limited to) construction reports, grounding reports and as-builts
• Ensure permitting, inspections and code compliance are completed as needed for each assigned project
• Review and comply with construction operation records such as: inspection reports, tool, equipment and supply usage and safety reports

REQUIREMENTS:

• Must be local to the New Jersey market
• Minimum of five years of relevant cellular and telecommunications industry experience
• The ideal candidate will have prior AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile/Sprint, and/or Dish experience
• Must have prior cellular construction experience with the ability to supervise multiple crews
• Experience dealing with cellular customer close-out packages (COPs)
• Strong computer skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint, etc.)
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving history
• Ability to read/understand cell site plan drawings
• Ability to coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously
• Ability to accurately complete detailed forms and reports
• Ability to calculate figures and amounts
• In-state travel (Texas) will be required
• Must have excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
• Must be able to work with all levels of internal management and staff, in addition to outside clients and vendors
• Must possess strong analytical skills and acute attention to detail
• Strong organizational, problem-solving skills with the ability to manage priorities and workflow
• Ability to work independently and as a member of various teams and committees
• Good judgment with the ability to make timely and sound decisions
• Versatility, flexibility and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm

• Ability lift 50lbs. repeatedly

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $85,000.00 – $100,000.00 per year
