About the Organization
Rianda House, founded in 2008, is a welcoming activity and resource hub for adults 50 – 100+ offering no-cost weekly wellness and enrichment programs to promote active and healthy aging. The center serves the northern Napa Valley communities of St. Helena, Calistoga, Angwin, Pope Valley, Berryessa Estates,
Rutherford, Oakville and Yountville. Older adults are the fastest growing population, and we experience annual growth in attendance with an average of 1,000 individuals who make 11,750 visits to either our main St. Helena facility or off-site locations. We leverage our strong partnership with more than 22 local agencies to ensure older adults have easy access to specialized services, links, and classes for individuals with chronic illness. Together with our partners, we bring services that would not otherwise be available locally. Rianda House expanded in 2020, in response to COVID-19, from being a physical location into a “senior center without walls.” Our doors remain virtually wide open as we continue to help older adults stay connected, find resources, keep moving, and fill lives with purpose and joy. www.riandahouse.org
Job Summary
The Development & Engagement Manager (DEM) is responsible for the continued implementation and expansion of fundraising and marketing strategies to grow a strong diverse base of philanthropic support, engage and inspire new and existing participants, and increase public awareness of Rianda House, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. The DEM reports to the Executive Director and is an integral part of a small nimble team, supported by an active Board and volunteer team. Key responsibilities include ensuring the growth and stability of multi-faceted revenue streams which include individual giving (major, pledges, and planned gifts), institutional giving (foundations, grantors, corporate and civic), and special events (fundraising, outreach, and advocacy). The DEM will expand brand identity and manage all aspects of day- to-day marketing communication to raise organization awareness and strengthen program outreach.

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 9:00 am – 5:00 pm. (currently virtually).
Occasional night and weekend work required.
Compensation: Salary – Competitive and based on experience.

At this time, all classes and programs are being offered virtually. Staff works remotely Monday – Friday and meet frequently and routinely 4 times a week. We access the facility as necessary.
