Job Summary
The DEI Office Administrator will support administrative functions, operations and/or programs in the expanding Office for Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) at the Jones Graduate School of Business at Rice University (Jones School). In a critical administrative support role for strategic initiatives related to diversity, equity and inclusion, this administrative professional is responsible for administrative tasks but will also have frequent interaction with multiple stakeholders, including, students, faculty, administration, alumni and corporate/educational partners as they coordinate essential administrative functions of the Office for DEI. The DEI Office Administrator offers senior-level administrative support to the Senior Associate Dean for Diversity, Equity and Inclusion, works under general supervision of the Executive Director for Diversity, Equity and Inclusion and supports the Office for DEI team members, as directed. This role comes with flexible arrangements, including the option of at least 1 remote-work day per week, to be worked out with the Executive Director for Diversity, Equity and Inclusion.
