The HR Coordinator acts in a support role for the Human Resources department. The HRC is expected to handle a variety of responsibilities including recruiting, event planning, employee relations, benefit administration, payroll processing, and HRIS system updates for Richards Industrials, Colesco, and Equilibar. The HRC must be able to function effectively with frequent interruptions and frequently changing priorities.
Major Duties and Responsibilities
· Point of contact for employee day-to-day questions and support (3 shifts M-F).
· Biweekly payroll processing and daily maintenance of the company HRIS system, using Paycom software.
· Assists with recruiting of all hourly and salaried positions.
· Assists with coaching and development of our associates and leadership team.
· Assists with preparation and maintenance of the performance review process for all employees.
· Benefits administration including new hire/termination of benefits, bill auditing, and all employee benefits related questions.
· Assists with pre-boarding, onboarding, and new hire orientation.
· Tracks FMLA qualified leave.
· Assists in planning all company wide events such as Annual Picnic, Holiday Lunch, Recognition Dinner, companywide lunches.
· Completes annual compensation surveys and manages data collection for annual wage analysis.
· Facilitates all employee meetings and monthly Java with Jordan meetings.
· Assists with scheduling and managing all Manufacturing Day events.
· Prepares and manages the Affirmative Action Program.
