Ripon College invites applications for a full-time tenure-track position as Assistant
Professor of Mathematical Sciences to begin August 2024. The Mathematical Sciences Department at Ripon includes mathematics, computer
science, statistics, and data science.
The successful candidate will demonstrate excellence in undergraduate teaching, scholarship,
and an appreciation for the role of faculty service in the life of the institution. A Ph.D. in an area of the mathematical sciences is
required. The department is working to expand offerings in applied mathematics, data science, and computer science and seeks candidates
willing to contribute broadly, in particular, candidates, who can help extend a data science minor to a data science major. All Ripon
College faculty advise students, provide service to the college, and contribute to Catalyst, our distinctive core curriculum. The expected
teaching load is 6 courses per year or equivalent. Faculty members are expected to contribute to the diversity and excellence of the
academic community through their teaching of courses, student mentoring, and service.
