One of Robert Half’s clients is on the lookout for a new bilingual Mandarin or Cantonese Logistics Coordinator. It is important for the chosen Logistics Clerk candidate to understand how to work with clients coordinating shipments. Additionally, you will perform a heavy amount of data entry and need to have customer service skills. If you can take responsibility for the processing of customer orders, including coordination with vendors and arranging shipments as the Logistics Clerk, you will have an edge over the competition. How you will make an impact

• Approve freight bills and process bills of lading
• Follow-up with carriers, as necessary
• Observe, follow, and encourage dispatch & progress of orders on time and to meet delivery requirements
• Perform various administrative duties
• Notify and plan with inventory and sales management; warehouse; logistics for service changes
• Follow guidelines for approving carriers

Requirements

• Must speak fluent Mandarin or Cantonese to be considered
• Capacity to operate basic office equipment, complete general office work and route incoming materials
• Well-founded grasp of Shipping documentation
• Proven knowledge of Shipping
• Command of Track Shipments
• Inventory Tracking experience
• Experience with Coordinate Logistics
• Strong familiarity with Quality Control
• Data entry experience
• You should consider this job if you have experience in purchasing, inventory control, transportation and warehousing functions
• 0+ years experience with shipping/logistics – The client will train you if you are willing learn!
• Ability to enter data into various electronic systems while maintaining the integrity and accuracy of the data
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a customer service mindset
