SUMMARY
As a Nursing Manager, you are responsible for developing and sustaining an environment that supports excellence in clinical practice and patient care on the designated unit. Your demonstrated leadership and customer service ability is important to departmental success.
The 5800 Unit at Rochester General Hospital is a 37 bed Unit, caring for patients with a wide array of medical diagnoses and multi-system problems, which may include cardiac requiring telemetry, Diabetes, Kidney disease, Dialysis, Pulmonary issues, and patients with multiple drips, drains & catheters. Patient population is very diverse medically, socially and culturally. Clinicians on 5800 will also possess strong psychosocial skills to support patient with substance abuse, mental illness in addition to their medical needs.

LICENSES / CERTIFICATIONS:
BLS – Basic Life Support – American Heart Association (AHA), RN – Registered Nurse – New York State Education Department (NYSED)
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
M – Medium Work – Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects; Requires frequent walking, standing or squatting.

PAY RANGE:
$90,000.00 – $140,000.00
The listed base pay range is a good faith representation of current potential base pay for a successful full time applicant. It may be modified in the future and eligible for additional pay components. Pay is determined by factors including experience, relevant qualifications, specialty, internal equity, location, and contracts.
