Job Description
This position will report to the Head of Supply Chain Americas. The Supply Chain Excellence Manager – Americas is responsible for championing learning and development for the Region, driving alignment and synchronization of process among all stakeholders to ensure efficient and effective execution of actions leading to best in class service, as well as championing continuous process improvement in all areas of the Supply Chain leading to a reliable, responsive and agile supply chain.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with stakeholders and symphony team to define reports and metrics to monitor critical supply chain processes and drive better predictability and reliability
- Champion continuous improvement in all areas of Supply chain “plan to deliver”
- Facilitate process alignment and change management associated with new SC operating model within the region
- Champion SC people learning and development initiatives aimed at strengthening the employees competencies
- Leverage technology to develop/ build automation and digital capabilities
- Deploy defined SC projects to drive improvement and productivity
- Provide support and lead initiatives in maturity assessment and guidance on self check compliance to policies, directives, guidelines.
- Facilitate deployment of SC standards or directives and best practices to help drive productivity
- Gathering of ideas and needs of the business to help drive improved processes, reporting or metrics
- Collaboration with external vendors to build benchmarks or targets towards best in class processes
- Build learning and development initiatives in relation with HR to offer ways to build the competencies of our teams
Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree in Supply Chain, Business Management, or equivalent.
- 5 years preferably in food or pharma ingredient business within Supply Chain.
- 5 years in Logistics/Transport, planning, project management
- 5 years of supervisory and leadership experience
- Able to work with cross functional teams
- Supply chain transformation experience
- Effective Project management skills
- Process mindset
- Change management experience
- Problem solving and analytical experience
- Strong research and analytical skills
- Demonstrated Microsoft Office Suite skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- High level of ethics
- Strong persuasive and influential skills
- Ability to mitigate risks
