Roseville Chevrolet Hiring for Automotive Payroll Clerk/HR Assistant at Roseville, CA Full Time

The All-New Roseville Chevrolet is looking for an experienced Payroll Clerk/Human Resources Assistant to join our growing team. You must have experience with processing payroll in house.

Summary of Duties:

• Processing new hires – running HR employee packs, reviewing employment packs once completed for completeness and accuracy. Verifying all pay plans are written, signed and enforced. Notifying EDD of new employee. Notifying insurance of new employee for insurance enrollment
• Assigning new employees employee numbers and entering them into the payroll system
• Processing employee insurance deductions, child support orders, garnishments etc.
• Processing time cards – calculating and reviewing for correctness, proper signatures from employees and managers
• Processing payroll – input, running checks, updating payroll into accounting, verifying checks for accuracy
• Maintaining HR records for employee’s eligibility for vacation, holiday and sick pay.
• Distributing paychecks to manager’s for distribution to their employees.
• Processing payroll taxes, 401k deferrals, 401k matching funds, child support orders and garnishments
• Processing terminations – final checks, final vacation calculations, notifying insurance of terminations etc.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $28.00 – $30.00 per hour

Experience:
