The Assistant Cook creates exceptional dining experiences by assisting the culinary team in preparation of quality food expressions.
The role of Assistant Cook can provide you with:

A typical shift for Assistant Cook may include the following responsibilities:
· Assist with the preparation, cooking, and plating of food items in accordance with food safety and sanitation guidelines.
· Maintaining a clean workstation throughout service, and engaging in proper break down and clean up at the conclusion of service.
· Perform other tasks as assigned to support food service operations, including buffet running.

The ideal candidate previous professional cooking experience with the ability to handle high volume and fast-paced service. Previous experience in a hotel kitchen is strongly preferred.
The ideal candidate will also possess the following knowledge, skills, and abilities:
· The ability to speak, read and write proficiently in the English language.
· The ability to work a variety of shifts including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
· The ability to engage in considerable physical activity on a continuous basis including traversing and holding fixed positions for prolonged periods.
· The ability to work in varied environments including heat and cold.
· The ability to effectively multi-task and maintain a productive pace, to support a high volume of food and beverage operations.
· Working knowledge of cleaning chemicals and safe handling procedures.
· TB test results required.
· ServSafe certification preferred.
· As a condition of employment, candidate must be able to satisfy all pre-employment screening, such as criminal background check, drug screening and personal and professional references.
