Major Responsibilities

Benefits & Wellness

• Serve as primary relationship to benefit vendors for implementation of firm benefit programs
• Implements firm’s Health and Wellness Program
• Provides reporting for Workers’ Compensation, OSHA and Affirmative Action Planning programs
• Manage benefits annual open enrollment process, including development and execution of team member communication, benefit fairs, and completion of enrollment changes
• Develop and implement firm’s annual Wellness Fair
• Oversight of third party COBRA processing

Team Member Relations

• New Team Member Onboarding
  • Present at new hire orientations
  • Manage the intern, entry level and experienced team member onboarding process at the firm
  • Manage system hiring and pre-onboarding paperwork compliance
  • Coordinates onboarding dates with recruiting and service unit leaders
• Assist team members with HR-related questions
• Assists with team member relation meetings and documentation

Human Resources Administration / General

• Provide oversight and supervision of the HR Coordinator(s)
• Coordinate firm career development program communications – Career Advocate, Mentor, and Career Coach including assistance with new assignments and changes to current assignments
• Administration of firm’s Career Equity Program tools and assignments
• Administrator for firm’s Performance Management System

Learning and Development

• Manages firm learning, development and compliance programs
• Assist in planning and implementing ongoing internal training needs of firm
• Oversees registration of outside training opportunities for team members
• Manages membership renewals to local, state and national professional organizations for firm and individual team members
• Coordinates onboarding planning of agenda, instructors and logistics
• Develop and maintain Learning & Development reporting to firm and state agencies

Preferred Experience/Background/Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, Organizational Development or equivalent
• Professional Human Resources certification (PHR), preferred
• Three to seven years of HR generalist experience, preferred
• Experience with HRIS systems, Ultimate Software/Ultipro preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel and Powerpoint required)
• Excellent client service skills, including the ability to meet challenging client requirements and deadlines, strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Working knowledge of employment laws and practices
• Attention to detail
• Analytical and research ability
• Ability to successfully contribute to the HR team direction through innovation and continuous improvement
• Ability to effectively utilize technology and reporting tools
• Strict adherence to professional ethics
• Evident practice of a high level of confidentiality

Working Conditions

• The typical office hours are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
• Ability to work extra hours as determined by the workload and deadline expectations
• Travel for this position is approximately 5-10%
• Ability to sit for long periods of time
• Ability to speak English to communicate with clients, team members, vendors, etc…

The salary range displayed is specifically for those potential applicants who will work or reside in the state of Colorado or Nevada, if selected for the role. Any offered salary is determined based on internal equity, internal salary ranges, market data/ranges, applicant skills and prior relevant experience, degrees and certifications (e.g. JD / technology).
