Seeking a well-organized biller who will be responsible for billing, monitoring aging reports, updating patients’ demographics, checking eligibility, and taking minimal patient phone calls. We’re looking for a proactive professional who is willing to learn under a fast-paced working environment.
Duties/Responsibilities
- Apply proper ICD-10 & CPT codes based on services rendered.
- Prepare and submit billing data and medical claims to insurance companies daily.
- Follow up on any rejected/denied claim and communicate with insurance companies on rejected claim issue
- Maintain accurate billing and payment collection information in HealthFusion
- Follow up with payments paid directly to patient
- Report directly to the Director of RCM on daily basis regarding billing progress
- Team leader willing to provide an overview and develop workflow management.
Required Skills/Abilities
- Experience of using HealthFusion as EMR system
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Google sheet and Google doc
- Ability to learn quickly
- Analytical solving skills
- Critical thinking and judgement
- Excellent communication skills
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and be resourceful with the ability to multi-task
- High school or equivalent (Preferred)
- Medical billing: 3-5year (Preferred)
