Sage Computing Hiring for PHP Web Developer at Remote Full Time

Sage Computing is looking for a PHP Developer for Reston office with hybrid schedule. The position can be totally remote depending on candidates’ expertise and experience. The Developer will be responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of web applications. You’ll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in a positive environment that will challenge you and provide support for growth.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Develop robust applications using agile methodology. Use Laravel or similar frameworks for rapid development.
• Provide technical expertise, architecture and high level designs for web applications
• Explore new technologies, suggest ideas for more efficient and reusable codebase
• Manage deliverables and schedule.
• Collaborate effectively with client and other development team members

Requirements Include:

• 2 years hands-on experience
• In depth knowledge of Core PHP Language and OOPS Concepts, MYSQL Database. Proficiency in Laravel highly desirable
• Good knowledge of JavaScript/Ajax and JQuery , Bootsrap, HTML/CSS
• Experience with NoSQL database such as MongoDB preferred
• Knowledge of AWS, DevOps, Git, and Agile Development environment
• Strong analytical skills, versatile and problem solver
