Distributor Sales Account Advisor Executive: Vice President of Sales
Reports to: Director of Distributor SalesThe most successful Account Executives at SAGE are positive, high-energy individuals that are passionate about our products and services and that are eager to help clients and develop relationships. They approach clients with conviction knowing that the products offered will aid them in their business endeavors. This position has no commission caps and pays equal commission on new and renewal business. SAGE maintains an average employee tenure of 7 years for this team, ranging from 18 years to 1 year. This position will take over an existing book of business which the candidate will manage, cultivate and expand upon. SAGE offers business management software, websites, marketing tools, and more that help our clients become more efficient and effective in their pursuits. Once a prospect is secured as a client, this candidate will manage the relationship by becoming a resource, coach and consultant to help advise best practices.The Distributor Sales Account Advisor position at SAGE is responsible for the end-to-end sales and management of customer relationships. This role includes, but is not limited to:Job Responsibilities – Manage a book of business via active account management, pursuing new sales via leads from
CRM system, networking, tradeshows, customer referrals, leads and all other means of developing business- Maintain an active pipeline of forecasted opportunities to meet monthly, quarterly, and annual quota objectives- Effectively speak at engagements and group training sessions
– Collaborate with team members and other departments to provide customers with highest level of service
– Acquire and maintain a working knowledge of complete capabilities of our service offerings
– Travel to and attend tradeshows (online and in-person) to obtain leads, demo software, and sell products and services, as required
– Consult with active clients and leads to create the best software and web packages for them
– Maintain a comprehensive knowledge of the promotional products industry and latest trendsTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

– Proficient in Microsoft Office programs including World, Excel, and PowerPoint
– Excellent organizational and interpersonal relationship skills
– Minimum 2+ years experience in sales, required
– SaaS experience preferred
– Knowledge of website platforms and terminology
– Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, sales, or other related degree preferred
– CRM Experience preferred
– Reliable, fast Internet (25Mbps down/5Mbps up, per person)
– Quiet, professional workspace environment if working from home
– Ability to attend in-person team office meetings when/if required
– Ability to perform virtual meetings via Zoom (or other platforms), as well as other on-camera client interactionsCompany Benefits – Hybrid work environment
