Sagemcom Broadband Solutions is looking for a Quality Manager to oversee Product & Process Quality for our Wired & Wireless CPE product lines with Telco & Cable operators in North America.
Familiar with Hardware & Software technologies for Broadband operators, the Quality Manager will contribute to innovative projects from initial design phase to NPI and pre-sales activities. Experienced and well organized, the Quality Manager will be instrumental to a diligent application of Sagemcom quality processes in all aspects of the product life cycle.
This position is based in Dallas and reports to the head of Quality Management for Sagemcom Broadband. Prior experience in projects or processes for engineering and manufacturing electronics devices mixing innovative Hardware & Software is desired.
Responsibilities:
· Be the Quality representative in interface with internal project teams (including Product, Engineering and Manufacturing) and our customers on products from NPI to Field deployment
· Manage and facilitate resolution of quality claims, identify, and contribute to associated quality improvement workshops
· Analyze Field and manufacturing KPI, and pilot improvement plans including efficiency verification
· Control the project management cycle as defined by Sagemcom processes on product life cycle: design, development, qualification, validation, industrialization, manufacturing, and repair
· Validate critical reviews for product, product file and Firmware
· Contribute to product improvement, promote quality methodology and tools in line with Product-Process
· Ensure preparation of Customer and Quality Management System (IS0 9001…) audits
Profile:
· Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Computer Science. Master is a plus.
· At least 3 years of experience in Engineering projects (Quality, R&D or manufacturing) in a similar industry
· Experience in manufacturing processes and projects for consumer electronics
· Previous experience in the Telecom/Broadband or IT/Networking industry is preferred
· Quality tools awareness
Skills and Knowledge:
· Good oral & written communication in English.
· Ability to work with remote teams in multiple time zones across North America, EMEA and Asia
· Good organization skills and autonomy to work on multiple project streams in parallel
· Attention to details and rigorous reporting
