Description: The SAIC OMES-II Program Management Office (PMO) is adding a new position to serve as the Personnel On-Boarding Specialist. The selectee will report directly to the OMES-II Program Manager, and will work with other members of the PMO and SAIC corporate staff to establish, implement and manage a comprehensive processes for on-boarding new SAIC personnel supporting the Omnibus Multidisciplinary Engineering Services (OMES) II contract. The SAIC OMES-II office is located in Seabrook, MD; however, during the CV-19 pandemic, support will be performed via telework.
Roles and Responsibilities: The selectee for this position will be responsible for development of processes to establish best practices associated with the on-boarding activities of all new SAIC personnel as they join the OMES-II contract. This will include pre-coordination with SAIC corporate for first day arrival, completion of requisite SAIC corporate and OMES-II specific new hire orientation; completion of required on boarding training as well as job specific training, coordinating badging and network accesses, ordering job related assets (e.g. computer) and assisting in introductions to the SAIC team as well as team specific leads and coworkers. These activities will proceed through the first few weeks of a new hire’s experience with SAIC on the OMES-II contract, as well as serving as the POC for coordinating job unique requirements, problem resolution, and ensuring all new hires are welcomed and experience an orientation and team membership designed to ensure an optimal experience and productivity. The selectee will also be responsible for routine and ad hoc follow-up with new personnel to ensure team cohesiveness, resolution of any problems that may arise, and deliberate actions to make SAIC the best place to work.

TYPICAL EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Bachelors degree and six (6) years or more of related experience; Masters and four (4) years or more experience.
Required Skills:
Target salary range: $75,001 – $100,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
