St. Francis Xavier is looking for an energetic, creative, and dedicated educator to work with our diverse K-8 community. Experience in early literacy and early childhood development (personal, social and emotional skills). Teach in a learning environment that supports Gospel values. We are looking for an educator who can use a variety of activities and instructional methods (songs, stories, media, structured games, art, outdoor activities etc) to motivate and engage children’s abilities. Ability to address needs of students from a diverse socio-economic environment. Preferred candidates are able to manage a classroom so as to create a positive environment where students feel welcomed and valued. Committed to supporting the mission and vision of the school.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree or Early Childhood Certification required.
* Must be able to pass pre-employment background check

Preferred qualifications

* Educator License in Early Childhood or Elementary Education
-Experience working with elementary or preschool age students

Pay: Salary commensurate to experience
