The Opportunity:

Saint Luke’s Hospital of Kansas City – Plaza location is seeking an Occupational Health Registered Nurse to join our team. You will provide coordination of Workers Compensation and Employee Health programs for the metro SLHS entities by providing care for all new applicants and employees – following injuries. You will complete all appropriate documentation, including: processing new hire documentation, managing all ongoing employee health documentation, entering information into appropriate computer applications, and managing all required and requested data metrics.

Shift Details: Monday through Friday

The Work:

• Performs independent health assessments for all new hires, recommends or advises against employment of applicants
• Acts as a case manager for employee injuries
• Assists in the administration of appropriate SLHS policies and Employee Health programs by processing necessary documentation
• Ensures the integrity and confidentiality of employee health files
• Acts as a resource to employees and other departments on a variety of WC and EH issues
• Functions autonomously, consistently and successfully without consistent onsite supervision

Job Requirements

Applicable Experience:
2 years
Basic Life Support – American Heart Association or Red Cross, Registered Nurse – Various
Bachelor’s Degree (Required)
