SaintA Hiring For Child and Family Therapist – School Based Mental Health (BGC) at Milwaukee, WI  Full Time

Summary:
Our next Child and Family Therapist will play an impactful role in delivering mental health services to area youth and their families. This position is a part of the Project Thrive program and will provide evidence-based, trauma-informed assessments and treatments for children and families at Boys & Girls Club sites throughout the community. Project Thrive is a collaborative partnership between SaintA, Boys & Girls Club of Greater Milwaukee and the Medical College of Wisconsin.

Duties:

• Provide community-based individual and family therapy to children at Boys and Girls Club sites in multiple locations in Greater Milwaukee
• Develop and implement treatment plans in conjunction with the client, his/her parent(s), or caregiver
• Effectively support clients and families through therapeutic relationships
• Collaborate and support with BGC site leaders and staff
• Eligible for training in Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Attachment, Self-Regulation and Competency (ARC); Mental Health First Aid and multiple evidence-based tools for assessment.

Qualifications:

• Master’s level LCSW , LPC, or equivalent preferred; LPC-IT or APSW may be considered (supervision of clinical hours provided)
• Bilingual candidates encouraged
• Experience providing individual, child, group, or family therapy to diverse clients in a community setting preferred
• Ability to work well within a multi-disciplinary team
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Excellent organization skills

Position Details:

• Full-Time with afternoons and some evenings required
• No-on call or weekend hours
• Flexible schedule
• Valid Wisconsin driver’s license with acceptable driving record, reliable vehicle and meet agency auto insurance requirements
• Reports directly to Clinical Supervisor
• Reimbursement for mileage
• Bilingual stipends
• Newly renovated office space
• Primarily placed with the Boys and Girls Club
