We are looking for a full-time Senior HR Administrator with a passion for food and hospitality.
You will report to the HR Director.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
The Senior HR Administrator is handling the HR administration process in autonomy within a fast-paced environment. The Senior HR Administrator maintains employee files, HR records and reminders.
The Senior Human Resources Generalist must demonstrate proficiency in time management, be organized, and have the ability to work with discretion and handle sensitive information.
- Maintain employee files.
- Maintain records of I-9 employment eligibility forms and follow up for missing information/forms of identification; corrections as required.
- Add new employees, Terminate, Add position, Change Location in ADP ensuring complete accuracy in HR’s data management.
- Order, track and distribute employee uniforms and/or equipment.
- Supervise and assist HR internal audits such as I-9 Forms and job descriptions as per requested by the HR Director.
- Understand knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees.
- Process required paperwork for employee transfers, changes in job classification, salary increases, and other related employment matters in HRIS.
- Monitor employee reminders.
- Follow directions of the HR Director for compilation of reports from the database such as new hire, turnover and EEO reports, etc.
- Maintain HR Systems as per requested by the HR Director.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
SKILLS/ABILITIES:
- Ability to maintain highly confidential information and data.
- Ability to exercise discretion in establishing and maintaining good working relationships.
- Ability to maintain a strong integrity and work ethic at all times.
- Ability to organize and demonstrate flexible and efficient time management with an ability to prioritize workload.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and handle numerous assignments simultaneously.
- Ability to comprehend and apply the appropriate sections of applicable laws, guidelines, regulations, ordinances, and policies.
- Ability to acquire a thorough understanding of the organization’s hierarchy, jobs, qualifications, and the administrative practices related to those factors.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite including Excel, Word and PowerPoint and Google Office Products.
- Ability to work prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Ability to travel within the area to gather employee documentation.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources and 5+ years of human resources experience or Master’s degree in Human Resources and 2+ years of human resources experience.
- 2+ years of ADP Experience required.
- Knowledge of I-9 requirements required.
- Fluent in Spanish is a plus.
