Responsibilities:
Essential Job Duties
Maintains, communicates and assists the Executive Director with training of written policies and procedure
Processes bi-weekly payroll and assists employees with questions/concerns regarding payroll
Assists in investigating employee conflicts and issues
Assists with employee recognition programs
Participates in the Manager on Duty Program and Salude Navigator program
Ensures new and revised policies are distrubuted to all agencies in assigned area and responsbility
Assists with preparation of information requested or required for HR audits and compliance with federal, state and company requirements
Answers questions regarding the understanding, interpretation and implementation of human resources policies and procedures that may come from employees in the area of responsbility
Administers employee benefit programs and answers related questions as necessary
Assists with the processing of employment data and offer letters as well as the maintenance and administration of Employee personnel files
Ensures personnel file checklist is implemented and that appropriate employment forms and records are current and complete
Assists in the training in regards to the maintenance of personnel files, record retention standards and requirements for disciplinary and evaluation procedures
Ensures compliance with state and federal statutory requirements including the Fair Labor Standards Act, Title VII of the Civil Rights Act, Affirmative Action Plans, Age Discrimination in Employment Act, Workers Compensation, unemployment regulations and other state or federal laws
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent
College Degree or additional training preferred
Minimum of two (2) years Human Resources experience, preferred
Training experience strongly preferred
Must be capable of maintaining regular attendance
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Behaviors
Familiarity with Microsoft Office Applications including Excel
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Excellent problem-solving skills
Knowledge of federal employment laws
