The Epic Analyst will partner with operational leadership to optimize and lead in the configuration of the supported Epic application, including system analysis, maintenance and support of Epic functionality. Analysts will lead the collaboration process with business partners and peers to document business processes and requirements for sustainable ongoing maintenance and support.
These position responsibilities include troubleshooting issues, engaging vendors for issue resolution, application maintenance, collaborating with peers and operational partners to optimize workflows, reviewing, building, testing and implementing functionality developed by Epic for periodic releases and special updates.
The Epic Operations team prioritizes a culture that supports work-life balance and creative team building activities to stay connected and foster peer collaboration. Epic Analysts work to build knowledge across multiple Epic modules as they gain experience and certifications to have a comprehensive approach to solution design.
Preference for candidates with Epic certification and strong Epic build experience in the following applications:
Radiant, Ambulatory, Willow Inpatient, ASAP, Beacon, Resolute, OpTesia, Cadence, Prelude, Referrals, Eligibility, HIM
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION/QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree (preferably in a related field) or equivalent work experience required.

Job Duties:
1. Acts as the primary resource in collaboration with system users towards continuous improvements of the business value delivered by our software applications.
2. Understands the choices involved in application configuration, vets potential system enhancement needs and prepares details of specifications needed; aids in prioritization and implements requested changes to the system.
3. Partners with other internal Epic analysts in developing cohesive solutions for an enterprise approach to system maintenance and modifications; including execution of application and integrated testing related to system updates and scheduled releases.
4. Leads operational projects for areas of responsibility, including managing deadlines, project scoping, timeline, and resources.
5. Achieves and maintains certification status in assigned application(s) and working knowledge of assigned applications.
