We are currently seeking a Human Resources Specialist to join our team!
The Human Resources Specialist (HRS) will be responsible for supporting the Human Resources and Distribution team. The HR Specialist is a fast-paced, and detailed individual. The HR specialist will perform duties at a professional level in some or all of the following functional areas: Recruiting, onboarding, compliance and employee relations. The position forms partnerships across the HR function to deliver value-added service to management and employees that reflect the business objectives of the organization.

Primary Duties
Sources and meets established timeline goals to fill vacant positions assigned by management.
Manages all internal and external job postings through the applicant tracking system.
Conducts prescreen interviews with selected applicants.
Extends offers and enters candidates into various systems to prepare for first day arrival.
Responsible for orientation which includes informing newly hired candidates on SanMar policies, the handbook, collecting completed new hire paperwork and delivering new hire gifts in a timely manner.
Liaison with staffing agencies to maintain a healthy, communicative relationship.
Manages the incentive program which includes the referral bonus and sign on bonus.
Assist with company-wide committee facilitation and employee communication.
Assist in implementation of human resource policies and procedures.
Ensure compliance with Federal and State regulatory requirements and reporting.
May participate in developing HR goals, objectives, and processes.
May assist with employee relations counseling and investigations as needed.
Perform other related duties as required and assigned.
Requirements
Demonstrated ability to source for exempt and non-exempt positions.
Demonstrates flexibility and the ability to quickly adapt to changing priorities while managing recruitment processes.
Excellent interpersonal and coaching skills.
Attention to detail, organizational, analytic, and problem-solving skills.
Must be able to maintain high level of confidentiality.
Responsive to staff needs, including professionalism, respect and consideration of others.
Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness and monitors work to ensure quality.
Takes personal responsibility for own actions, keeping commitments and asking for and offering help when needed.
Perform highly responsible and complex work independently and accomplish with minimal instruction or in accordance with established procedures.
Bilingual Spanish preferred, but not required
Qualifications:
Minimum of 2 years previous recruitment sourcing experience preferably in a distribution/manufacturing industry.
Specialized training in employment law, benefits, leaves administration, employee relations, training required.
Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification preferred or related work experience.
Bilingual in Spanish preferred but not required.

Schedule: Monday-Friday 9:00am-5:30pm
Starting Base Rate: $22.00/hour, DOE
