Perform general vehicle maintenance.
Inspect and diagnose cars and light trucks and document required repairs and suggested maintenance. Communicate effectively with customer service representatives, perform assigned services, and document completion.
Maintain high quality-of-service standards such as using seat covers and floor mats, performing clean work, test-driving vehicles before and after repairs (as applicable,) attaching new oil change reminder stickers and re-setting maintenance reminders after servicing their vehicle, adhering to COVID safety requirements, performing a thorough visual inspection on all cars, following shop repair process and treating customers and fellow associates with respect at all times,
General service technician responsibilities include; oil changes and tires, light repairs such as belts & hoses, batteries, bulbs, wipers, engine and cabin air filters, light maintenance such as spark plugs, fluid flushes, fuel injection services, alignments, and wheel balancing.
B-level technicians will be expected to perform all the preceding services, as well as brakes, suspension, front-end and steering, along with medium line repairs such as rack & pinion assemblies, CV axles, cooling system repairs where a leak is evident and no overheat has occurred, and basic electrical (fuses, cables, etc.)
A-level technicians will be able to perform all the preceding services as well as A/C and HVAC services, timing belts, cooling system diagnostics, MIL code scans and diagnostics, along with some heavy line. (We do not rebuild engines or overhaul transmissions.)
Master Technicians must be able to perform all the preceding services as well as engine performance and electrical system diagnostics and repairs. (We do not perform smog.)
