Opportunity:

We’re seeking a dynamic Sr. Technical Talent Acquisition Specialist, to help drive strategies that’ll attract the best and brightest talent to SAS. If you have a proven track record for delivering results and have a knack for building strong, connected partnerships, we want you to be part of our collaborative, data-driven, and high-energy recruitment team.

As a Sr. Technical Talent Acquisition Specialist, you’ll be responsible for full lifecycle recruitment activities across key strategic areas in our technical and/or sales business units. This includes serving as a trusted talent advisor to business leaders and sourcing and attracting top talent for both technical and non-technical roles.

We’re looking for someone with creative ideas, a commitment to providing a strong customer experience, and a vision for how to pipeline talent. Our goal? Attract top talent, anticipate the needs of our internal stakeholders, and ensure candidates understand why SAS is an employer of choice.

What you’ll do

• Manage full life cycle of recruitment process from discovery meeting with hiring manager, sourcing and screenings candidates, submitting the most qualified candidates to hiring team, participating in the interview process, hiring decision, and completing offer negotiations
• Source both active and passive candidates through multiple channels with a focus on presenting a diverse slate of candidates
• Drive employee referral campaigns within business units
• Create and implement data driven recruitment strategies to identify the best talent in the market
• Determine appropriate recruiting sources for advertising and posting positions
• Develop and implement cost effective sourcing and advertising that will minimize the time it takes to fill positions
• Provide exceptional experience to internal stakeholders and external candidates
• Create employer branding campaigns to promote the company image to candidates and external service providers
• Lead quarterly talent acquisition business reviews with business leaders, identify gaps in recruitment/interview process, and provide recommendations for improvement
• Meet and exceeds established service level agreements
• Serve as a trusted business advisor and subject matter experience in talent and recruitment strategies
• Document candidate evaluation and interview process
• Participate in special projects

What we’re looking for

• At least five to eight years of professional recruiting experience, preferably within the software industry.
• Bachelor’s degree.
• Proven history of meeting and exceeding talent metrics including reducing time to fill positions or agency spend.
• Experience implementing new ideas for attracting talent and building talent pipelines.
