Scanfil plc Hiring for Warehouse Supervisor/Lead- nd Shift at Buford, GA Full Time

2nd Shift- 2pm-10:30pm or 3pm-11:30pm. WORKING supervisor/lead position. If you are looking to sit at a desk and not help your team, this is not the position for you.

Will lead a small 2nd shift warehouse picking team, less than 5 team members. The supervisor/lead will coordinate the completion of daily, weekly objectives related to supporting the production team. Need someone that can keep the team on track, solve problems/issues as they arise, communicate issues and problems to leadership. Someone that is a team player and will roll their sleeves up and help the team when needed.

Must be able to drive a cherry picker, turret experience helpful.

Someone that understands the importance of inventory control procedures, picking accuracy, warehouse processes and procedures.

QUALIFICATIONS (2): At least 3 years experience in warehousing with supervisory experience preferred.

• Supervise employees involved in the warehouse operation, about 5 people.
• Demonstrate continuous effort to improve operations, decrease turnaround times, streamline work processes, and work cooperatively and jointly to provide quality seamless customer service.
• Maintain and improve inventory quality and efficiency.
• Monitor production rates for receiving and order picking.
• Coordinate receiving inspection process
• Ensure and implement standards and warehousing techniques.
• Monitor results and take appropriate corrective and preventive actions.
• Establish KPI’s, goals, objectives, and measurement criteria for personnel.
• Read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
• Interpret production schedules, understand capacity constraints, and plan resource requirements accordingly.
• Ensure crew is properly balanced in work areas to achieve maximum productivity while maintaining the highest level of quality.
• Uphold 5S principles.
• Coordinate and execute receiving inspection process according to quality guidelines/ processes
• Maintain employee training records
• Fork Lift certified, lift and move up to 50lbs.
• Computer skills a must
• Other tasks as assigned to help the success of the team as a whole.
