What You’ll Be Doing
Performs and leads all programming and development of Payment Systems & Technology with a focus on providing a world class Member experience.Provide technical support and expertise on BASE 24 and/or Base 24-eps for ATM and POS platforms in configuration, installation, networking, and troubleshooting and disaster recovery. Establish and monitor system performance and reporting. Work closely with internal teams and vendors on issueresolution.
Essential Job Functions:
Performs and/or leads design, coding, testing, implementation, and documentation of payments systems and computer programs of high complexity, significance, and risk.
Demonstrates good understanding of the payments industry, technology, and business needs driving the projects and works collaboratively with Member service departments.
Participates in application architecture design and review.
Estimates and defines timetables and project tasks; analyzes and estimates cost and time. Leads change impact analysis.
Develop unit and test plans, identifies opportunities to improve testing process.
Ensures that expected application performance levels are achieved and proactively identifies areas for improvement.
Investigate, analyze, and resolve complex technical problems. Identifies and manages interfaces, service levels, standards, and configurations. Responds with urgency to incidents and service requests.
Participate in efforts to share technology expertise and train and mentor others in the use of technologies and development processes.
This position will be part of an on call rotation supporting the production environment 24x7x365.
Education/Years of Experience/Certifications:
High School Diploma required, Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Math, Physics or related technical field, or 5 – 10 years programming experiencepreferred.
Experience with card services, payment systems, or payment operations preferred.
Experience with project management processes and methodologies preferred.
Additional Preferred Skills:
HP NonStop platform experience.
BASE 24-eps operations experience is preferred (BASE24 classic, Connex/Advantage or other Card Payments technologies may be acceptable).
BASE 24-eps troubleshooting skills.
BASE 24-eps Scripting or similar scripting language (such as Java, XML, etc.).
Windows Server experience (with PRM/ACI, Prognosis/IR, etc.).
Linux knowledge (UPF/ACI).
ASSET test system/simulator experience (or similar testing tools experience).
Experience with and/or knowledge of PRM, Prognosis, ICE, data replication SW (GoldenGate, Shadow Base, etc.).
C++ coding, TACL experience preferred.
SYMITAR or CORE banking experience preferred.
