WordPress/Web Developer
SCW Fitness Education has a great opportunity for an individual to work from home as a Web Developer on our WordPress and WooCommerce websites. The candidate must have direct experience managing and customizing Membership sites using Member Press. This individual will build, maintain, and develop SCW’s websites, digital products, and virtual events. A minimum of three years of experience is required. Inexperienced and under-skilled applicants need not apply. Salary commensurate with education and experience. Responsibilities include:
- Developing WordPress based websites for conferences, products, and memberships
- Setting-up virtual events via WordPress membership platform (Member Press) and running event tech support
- Working directly with hosting company to troubleshoot and optimize all website related issues
- Maintaining and enhancing current WooCommerce sites
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Expertise in WordPress (Multisite), WooCommerce, and Member Press
- Proficiency in WP Elementor, HTML/CSS, MySQL & phpMyAdmin
- Competency with support and maintenance of server hosting and security
- Aptitude with database management
- Excellent organizational skills and a strong ability to self-manage projects
