The Recording Head Operations team is looking for a Prototype Operator III for the D Shift. In this position, you will be responsible for all aspects of the production process, including equipment set-up and maintenance, production/fabrication, test, production training, and machine/tool making.
About the role – you will:
* Responsible for activities in production area(s) to meet production goals, quality, and cost objectives
* Set up and operate a variety of automatic or semi-automatic machines used in the production of the company’s products
* Work from process sheet or written/verbal instructions
* Check and inspect operations against predetermined tolerances. Includes all assembly, fabrication and machine operation jobs
* Operate machinery or computer devices to produce a product or service

Your experience includes:
* Experience operating wafer production equipment
* Set up and operate automatic or semi-automatic machinery

Shift: Current hours of support in the D shift are (Friday – Sunday) and every other Thursday (630 pm) – (630 am). The hours are subject to change with or without notice at the sole discretion of Seagate.
