SEAM Group, a global leader in asset maintenance, reliability, and sustainability solutions for multiple industries operating around the world, is seeking a Manager, Electric Vehicle (EV) Services to join our team!

This is a remote work-from-home position. You will report to the Director of Operations. Director, EV Services Operations.

Position Summary:
The Manager, Electric Vehicle (EV) Services Operations is responsible for the successful service operations of SEAM Group’s EV services market. This role will serve as the first level of escalation for all EV service technicians working in the field.*

• Lead a team of EV field technicians to ensure complete client satisfaction working in a safe and efficient environment
• Provide supervision of daily operations of field service technicians
• Ensure that technicians and service partners are equipped with all the knowledge, tools, and materials to perform the jobs assigned
• Assist in the development of work procedures and training
• Participate in the interviewing and hiring process for new employees and 1099 contractors
• Develop and manage team member’s careers for future growth based on knowledge, technical skills, soft skills, and interpersonal skills
• Serves as a point of reference for quality assurance and SOP development
• Develops and analyzes performance metrics and uses the data to strategically address the needs of the team to drive process improvements
• Perform technical fieldwork as needed
• Implements and ensures adherence to all company policies and procedures across the field technician team
• Perform other duties as assigned

Required Skills/Abilities: *

• Technical experience in power electronics or related field
• Understanding of electrical safe work practices
• Ability to share knowledge and mentor team members
• Confidence and leadership skills to drive change across a remote team of experienced field technicians
• Ability to influence others while working remotely in a cross-functional team
• Strong ability to navigate computer programs, including but not limited to Microsoft Office Suites, specifically Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including vast knowledge of technical terminology
• Ability to demonstrate consistent decisiveness (independent action)

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience with vast technical background
• Minimum of five (5) years of experience in EV or Power industry Field Service technical role
• Minimum of two (2) years of experience in a prior supervisory role
• Experience in operations training preferred

Physical Demands:

• Travel between 30-60% may be required; including by car or air
• Must be available to work in the U.S. on a long-term basis
• Must have a valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
• Must be able to pass a criminal background check and drug screening
