PRIMARY PURPOSE: To develop, organize and implement DEI initiatives and plans that will improve the diversity of talent and inclusion capabilities within the company.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS and RESPONSIBILITIES
- Engages with people leadership, colleague resources, business partners, and other business leaders to share overall DEI strategy and supporting initiatives/programs for input, buyoff, and participation. Effectively influences broad transformational change at all levels of the organization. Provides consultative thought leadership on DEI.
- Partners closely with CR talent teams to embed, integrate, and align DEI practices into key talent processes including recruiting/staffing, performance review, talent review, succession planning, career pathing, leadership initiatives, etc.
- Creates and drives strategy for DEI-specific development/training as well as identifies opportunities to embed DEI concepts into learning & development roadmap. Researches best practices and makes recommendations on necessary approaches and content. Collaborates closely with L&D team on training creation and implementation strategy. Works with external vendors where needed.
- Collaborates closely with colleague experience team to embed DEI into strategy to ensure DEI is built into the DNA of leaders’ and colleagues’ behavior and experiences.
- Designs and delivers highly effective DEI initiatives & programs as identified by the strategy. Drives engagement with key stakeholders. Effectively drives participation and engagement in programs. Ensures successful implementation and measure results.
- Delivers targeted DEI initiatives & programs to improve customer engagement and help drive Sedgwick as a vendor of choice.
- Draws insights from enterprise-wide talent analytics to provide additional recommendations on required DEI initiatives. Monitors and analyzes recruiting, retention and other HR metrics, and develops appropriate action plans as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS
Education & Licensing
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university preferred.

Eight (8) years of DEI experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
