Job Summary:
The Human Resources Compliance Program Manager ensures the execution of the company’s HR compliance policies and programs. The ideal candidate has experience in managing policies and programs to maintain compliance with all federal, multi-state, and local employment laws. The HR Compliance Program Manager has proven ability to influence associates and managers of all levels to ensure compliance standards are upheld.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities
Duties/Responsibilities:
Develops, reviews and maintains Company policies and procedures, including all company policies and federal, state, and local regulations
Researches, analyzes data and prepares reports on program trends, new project suggestions and current program goals and progress
Ensures all annual training obligations are met such as Anti-Harassment, EEO, FMLA/ADA, OFCCP, etc.
Responsible for Annual Reporting, including but not limited to EEO and California Pay Data Reporting
Compliance Expert on all 50-States, including but not limited state-specific employment law, leave of absences, voting leave requirements, paid sick and safe time, etc.
Manager of HR COVID Task Force
SOX compliance point of contact; track down deliverables
Serves as a resource to associate, leaders and team members to educate and assist them with implementing processes and making improvements/changes
Develops training material and teaches courses
Performs other related duties as assigned
Stays up to date on compliance issues that impact HR and existing processes and procedures
Works with HR business partners and leadership, on a timely basis, to identify a solution, propose next steps and leads/partners with key stakeholders on the implementation process.
Required Skills/Abilities:
Skilled and detail oriented project individual with strong organizational skills
Knowledge of laws related to HR Compliance and knowledge of current trends in Human Resources
Strong written and oral communication skills
Strong analytical skills
Excellent project management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
Ability to solve routine or complicated problems effectively and drive projects to successful completion
Aptitude to develop partnerships with teams within the department and across the company
Ability to compose and present comprehensive reports
Proficient at planning, organizing and presenting training activities to diverse employee groups
Comfortable with authoring many types of documents, including agendas, action/project plans, and presentations
Personable, collaborative team member who will thrive in a fast-paced, growing environment with constantly changing priorities
Education and Experience:
Minimum 3 years of Human Resources experience including 2 years’ project management responsibilities
Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred
Must have working knowledge of state and federal employment/labor laws and statutes, including but not limited to FLSA, FMLA, ADA, Title VII, and other DOL regulations
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software

Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
