Job Summary

As a Shopify developer, you will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and implementing designs from our graphics team for multiple shopify e-commerce websites. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful execution of e-commerce projects and promotions to deliver high-quality, scalable solutions. Your primary focus will be on customizing and optimizing Shopify themes, developing custom functionalities, and integrating third-party applications.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and customize Shopify themes to create visually appealing and user-friendly e-commerce websites.
• Implement custom functionalities using Shopify Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Collaborate with designers to translate visual mockups into functional Shopify themes.
• Integrate and configure third-party applications, plugins, and APIs to enhance website capabilities.
• Optimize website performance, including page load speed, mobile responsiveness, and SEO.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues, ensuring timely resolution and minimal impact on website operations.
• Stay updated with the latest Shopify features, updates, and best practices to recommend improvements and implement new functionalities.
• Work closely with project managers, designers, and other developers to deliver projects within established timelines and quality standards.
• Conduct code reviews and maintain coding standards to ensure clean, efficient, and reusable code.
• Provide technical support and guidance stakeholders during project implementation and post-launch.

Requirements

• Full-Proficiency in Shopify Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, with a solid understanding of web development principles.
• Full-stack experience preferred
• Familiarity with Shopify’s platform features, including product management, checkout process, and order fulfillment.
• Experience integrating and configuring third-party applications and APIs, such as payment gateways, shipping providers, and marketing tools.
• Knowledge of responsive web design principles and mobile optimization techniques.
• Proficient in version control systems, such as Git, for managing code repositories.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot and debug technical issues.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
• Continuously update skills and stay current with industry trends and advancements in Shopify development.
• Minimum 40 WPM typing speed

Benefits

Salary: $60k-$95k+/year depends on experience and skills
