This full-time, 100% Senior Student Support Specialist-Academic Counseling, Career & Educational Support Services (ACCESS) position, under general supervision, assists with the planning and implementation of a student support function in a center environment; assists students and the public to understand and complete matriculation, educational plan, graduation or transfer requirements, applications and/or forms; performs administrative support duties including maintaining records and databases; may handle escalated issues at a front counter or over the phone; and performs related duties as assigned.

A valid California driver’s license or ability to access and use alternative transportation.
Starting Salary Range: $4,592 to $6,153 per month. plus 5% annual increases up to step 7.
Full-time, 100% assignment (40 hours per week), 12 months per year; Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. with evenings and weekends as required.

Cabrillo College currently provides a benefit stipend contribution for medical, dental, life and long-term disability insurance for full-time employees and eligible dependents. Please note: Employees who work less than 1,040 hours per year are not eligible for benefits. More than part-time contracts will receive a pro rata benefit stipend based on the percentage of assignment.
