SUMMARY:
The Shipping Receiving and Inventory Specialist role is responsibility for providing customer service support to the sales team and customers. This role builds an understanding of our products and culture and ensures customer orders are processed accurately.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Receive, manage, and enter orders from customers and provide resolution for inquiries regarding orders.
Manage customer/vendor information within ERP system.
Maintain inventory part numbers in ERP system.
Maintain in-house inventory based on sales reports and customer demands.
Shipping/Receiving
Sales order and project invoicing
Working with vendors to gather and manage current pricing and quotes, rebates etc.
Answering of phones
Physical inventory
Enter customer orders and work with vendors to provide exemplary purchasing experience.
Communicate with customers and vendors to provide accurate lead-times.
Build sustainable relationships with customers and vendors.
Update customer and vendor information as needed.
Handle returns and repairs.
Assist sales team on quoting and account management.
Order and track samples and demo equipment
Process and manage returns.
Develop process improvements as well as bring forth solutions as issues arise.
REQUIREMENTS/SKILLS:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
Ability to organize and priorities multiple priorities and tasks in a non-structured environment.
Strong attention to detail
Knowledge and understanding of lead time metrics.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
High School Diploma required.
4-year degree in preferred
Minimum 3 years’ experience in Customer Service role and/or Sales support role
