Sentara Home Care Services Chesapeake is now looking for a Temporary Medical Records Clerk!

The Medical Records Clerk is responsible for the verification and correction of all medical record assignments; provides follow up on all requests from physicians and other authorized personnel; verifies admission and discharge dates; receives and processes requests for medical information from various parties; processes records for the complete file by combining records of various admission/treatment dates of patients; provides overall maintenance of chart files.

THIS IS A TEMPORARY POSITION – 1 YEAR

Qualifications: Medical Records Data, 1 year. High School or Equivalent required.
