Job description

Rapidly growing and fast paced technology company located in Wakefield MA is looking to hire a telecom cable installer.

What you’ll do

· Install troubleshoot test and terminate all categories of copper cable, coaxial, and fiber cables.

· Install and troubleshoot paging systems and other electronics

· Install racks, cabinets, shelves, ladder rack, cable tray, conduit, sleeves, fire stop, patch cords, WAP’s and anything else related to Division 27 projects

· Perform work at various heights and work from all types of ladders and man lifts

· Work in data center environments

· Site Surveys

· Complete work in a timely and efficient manner as delegated

Requirements/Skills:

· 1 -5 years’ experience in the telecommunications cabling field

· Background check, driving record check, drug test, neat appearance

· Some personal tools will be required

· Ability and willingness to travel overnight as required

· Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends

· Strong verbal and written communication skills

· BICSI credentials and fiber certification a plus

· Ability to work at heights and on ladders

· Ability to work in fast-paced environment

· Reliable, top-notch work ethic

· Other duties as assigned
