SUMMARY

We are looking for experienced hosts to join our beach front restaurant team. Qualified candidates will meet the qualifications below as well as possess the positive, “cool, calm, collective” vibe we love to offer our guests here at The Deck on Laguna Beach & Driftwood Kitchen.

(FRIDAY-SUNDAY AVAILABILITY MANDATORY)

The job responsibilities for hosts include greeting guests, making reservations through Yelp Reservations, creating server seating plans for both restaurants, coordinating seating during service, setting tables up for service and helping guests have a exceptional experience. Experience with reservation software like open table and yelp seat me a plus. Excellent phone skills a must. If you are an energetic, organized and positive individual you will have a great time working with us at the beach.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Previous restaurant experience preferred.
• Must be available at least 5 days a week.
• Must be willing to work at least 4 days a week, full time preferred.
• Must be have strong communication skills and ability to multi-task is required
• Ability to follow directions well, make quick decisions, and keep organized while under pressure
• Previous experience in a high volume restaurant preferred.
• Experience with computer based reservations systems preferred
• Must be able to operate a multi-line telephone
• Must have a positive attitude, be self-motivated, polite, energetic and a willing learner

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $15.00 – $24.00 per hour
