SET, Inc Hiring for Construction Estimator Job at Lowellville, OH Full Time

As an estimator you are responsible for researching bid advertisements within the company’s area of interest. Estimators must evaluate all bid documents and produce a competitive bid in a timely manner. Estimators are responsible for obtaining quotes from all qualified subcontractors and suppliers and apply critical thinking to estimate labor, equipment, and materials needed to complete a project. Must then submit complete and competent bids before required deadlines.

Necessary skills and experience include:

Experience with Highway/DOT (ODOT and PennDOT) projects preferred

Ability to read, decipher, and fully understand construction plans and specifications

Ability to estimate labor, equipment, and materials needed to complete a project

Ability to perform cost analysis in order to determine preferred profit margins

Ability to communicate with project Owners and Engineers

Excellent organization and time management skills

Construction estimating software experience

Basic Microsoft Office skills required, with ability to learn new computer programs

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $80,000.00 – $120,000.00 per year
