Responsibilities:
The Case Manager is responsible for providing case management services to those with substance abuse/misuse concerns, including providing information, referral, and support to clients of the Howard County addictions program who have identified needs.
Requirements:
- BA/BS in social work, counseling, psychology or other mental health or social service related field or Associates degree and 2 years related experience.
- Community health worker experience a plus.
- CSC-AD or CAC-AD required
- Knowledge and understanding of substance abuse and mental health conditions and person-centered approach.
- Valid Maryland driver’s license. Must have a driving record with 3 or less points on it at the time of hire.
- Depending on specific assignment, work requires travel between programs and services
